Beststagedesign is owned and operated by myself, Penny White, and Kathy Violante. Kathy and I have been friends for over 20 years now and have the scars to prove it! (Just kidding) Putting this company together has been a dream for a long time and finally has come to fruition. Kathy and I have different styles and personalities, and it works well for us. We are both originally from upstate NY, and have family & friends there. We started out as co-workers for a small airline. In many ways our lives paralleled each others. We went to the same high school although we didn't know each other then(she is five years younger than me) Come to find out she graduated with my younger brother Dave! We were married to the same kind of men, we divorced the same kind of men etc. I digress...One of the most important rules we have is to keep the lines of communication open. We do not see everything the same way which always makes it interesting and sometimes challenging. We listen and learn from each other, the people we work with, and from the world we live in. We know when business is business, and when fun is fun. We do try to mix a little fun in with  business, making the best of whatever situation we find ourselves in!

The best description of our services is that we prepare your home  for sale by merchandising it to appeal to the most amount of people. You probably don't think of your home as "merchandise", but when it's on the market, that is exactly what it is. For most people it is difficult to separate themselves from thier home because they have "branded" it with thier taste and style. We are able to be objective, giving your home a more universal look so a potential buyer can envision thier style and taste in the home, making them more likely to buy.
