I am a Realtor /Broker/Mortgage Specialist.  I have been working in the real estate industry for 7 years. Prior to my real estate career, I was a secondary Science teacher and a Microbiologist. My 20 years of experience in the scientific field has enabled me to aquire many special skills that I bring to my real estate career. I believe that one of those skills to be  an extremely effective and efficient communicator.  Clients looking for their dream home and concerned over their life's savings feel reassured throughout the process via my constant communication and explaination of the process. I have also acquired extremely good organizational skills that enable me to keep my mortgage and real estate transactions working smoothly. My stong work ethic has enabled me to accomplish all of my goals through out the years. My new goal is to become the top realtor in my field and I feel confident that I will achieve it. Ultimately, I plan to open my own real estate company in the mountains of North Carolina where I plan to eventually retire.

I have spent three years researching and previewing communities in the mountains to help clients who are looking to retire or purchase a second home.  I have also established relationships with many mountain builders, developers and realtors. My second area of expertise is the relocation of out of town clients to the Charlotte, Lake Norman area of North Carolina. Most relocation choices are driven by school choice. I have the extensive knowledge of the workings of the school systems of North Carolina and can arrange private tours and consultations from each school to help my clints feel comfortable with their home choice.

In addition to my realtor and broker certification, I have obtained my mortgage loan orgination certification. I presently work as a loan originator with 1st Metropolitian Mortgage in addition to my Realtor job.. I chose to do this for two reasons. First, I wanted to be able to make sure that I was serving my client with the best possible advice and loan package they could afford. Too many loan originators do not have a personal realtionship with their customers and therefore have encouraged poor loan choices. These poor choices have been evident lately with the mortgage crisis that we are now seeing. I wanted to make sure my clients did not end up losing their home because of someones poor advice. Secondly, I wanted to offer my clients a full service transaction that could be completed in a timely and efficient fashion. I can orginate loans in all 50 states through my mortgage company.
