Buying a house was the biggest decision I have made to date. It seems like my decisions get more complicated year after year. I have read plenty of books on buying real estate as an investment and how to manage a property. Finally, I  decided to take the necessary steps to actually owning investment real estate. A friend of mine did it and he referred me to Pam Schaid at Gold Star Realty.

I got up the nerve to e-mail, then set up an appointment to learn about the process with Pam. She was eager to answer all my questions and, to my delight, wasn't all about selling. I walked away from our first meeting with a binder full of in-depth, researched information containing the specifics of the area (including demographics, employment and growth trends) as well as the specifics of the process of buying a property. As a first-time buyer, I had hundreds of questions.

Without Pam Schaid's guidance, knowledge and patience I would not  own a piece of real estate today. Pam made me feel at ease by walking me through the process more than once-I needed that. Pam made me understand all the pieces involved from identifying the piece of property to getting it financed and then, rented. Pam also introduced me to each person on the team: the management company, the legal office, the mortgage company, the appraiser, etc. Pam just made things easy.
