These are the treasured days on the Outer Banks. If the waves are good chances are you will not see many of the working men of the Outer Banks at thier posts on these "board meeting" days . It is not uncommon to see two to three & sometimes four generations of the same local family enjoying this great sport.

I also enjoy working in my organic garden. I have a real nice asparagus bed , six different types of Berries and I like to grow things like heirloom patty pan squash , tomatoes. melons , peppers , beans and herbs.
