I am writing in response to the Satisfaction Survey that you recently sent to my wife and I.regarding the home purchase we made with the help of one of your agents, Marty Griffin. The Survey is a great way to provide feedback, but I had more to say than I could fit on it, thus this letter.
Marty provided outstanding service to my wife and I during the 16 months that we spent looking at various properties on the Outer Banks and in the Currituck and Elizabeth City areas. I have always been suspicious of the commissions that Realtors earned. However, Marty worked so hard for us and was so helpful during our home purchase process that he not only earned his commission, I wish that we had the resources to have paid him so much more- he really did that well for us!
Marty went above and beyond the call of duty while helping Rachel and I. He helped us investigate more than a hundred homes on-line and he helped us look at several dozen in person. He made phone calls for us and was our man-on-site during the hectic weeks leading up to closing. Buying a home from out-of-state was not easy, but Marty helped so much that he made it as smooth as possible. He kept in touch with our lender, our closing attorney and the seller during the entire process, making calls on our behalf and helping push the closing process through to the end. As a big bonus he made us feel like we were his #1 clients all the time, which was a great personal touch.
If you ever have clients looking to work with a great Realtor, please point them in Marty's direction. He is an absolute winner and he will be our Realtor forever. He's a great guy, did an awesome job and we highly, HIGHLY recommend Marty to anyone out there needing a Realtor's services.
