I spent 15 years in the technology industry in various sales, marketing, and operations positions.  In the mid 1990's I started buying properties to rehab and resell, as well as rental properties.  I found I loved the real estate industry, but just didn't have the...patience?...to be a realtor.  I've always been a numbers person, and I was good at determining what a property would sell for, what repairs would cost, and therefore what I needed to buy it at to make a profit.  I started training under an appraiser in Dallas in 2003, got my license in 2004, and have been loving it ever since!

Appraisal House now has offices in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio, and we currently contract with an appraiser in Houston to cover that area, but are looking to open a permanent office there.  Additionally, we help our clients find appraisers in areas that we don't cover -- trying to provide the best customer service possible.

Appraisal House can handle just about anything you have in the residential real estate arena.  I started out taking the jobs the regular appraisers didn't want to deal with, so I got very good at appraising the tough properties.  I've seen just about everything -- with the exception of a dome home, but I'm sure that is coming -- and am comfortable with any assignment.  I've done manufactured homes on 100 acres, 12,000sf mansions, historic homes, land appraisals, divorce valuations, property tax valuations, and just about anything else you can think of.
