I'm the new web guy in a local real estate brokerage office, and my talents and interests lean more toward design (my wife will gently take the checkbook from me and say "You're much better with colors and shapes."  But on this current project I find myself fascinated by the world of real estate, and especially the way emerging technologies -- and styles of design as well as styles of human interaction -- are affecting the industry in very fundamental ways.  All of which is to say that if I have an area of expertise in real estate, it's only in the developing stages, and has to do with the emerging new paradigms of real estate practice.

And I'm sorry I used "paradigms" twice.  Bad English major, bad.

At any rate, ActiveRain seems to be the very best place to be to learn more about the new ways of doing things, plus it looks fun and interesting -- and maybe I'll even have something to contribute, if all goes well.
