My name is Kyle Reidhead, and I am proud to be a born and bred Bremertonian.
After over thirty years of happily residing here, I decided to settle down
into my own home with my new little family. Our intention was to interview
more than one potential mortgage broker with hopes that we would have
options in finding the person best-suited for us.
We met with Mark Flanders on a Friday (he had offered his services to me
during a quick conversation we had at the Yacht Club), and then we had to
leave, so he agreed to meet with us again the following morning--even though
it wasn't a day he usually works. Overall, we ended up meeting with him for
over five hours, and at the end of those five hours we knew that his
services were valuable to us.
As first-time homebuyers, we absolutely knew nothing about the process.
Mark took extra time to explain each step to us one by one and answer all of
our many many questions, until we were familiar with the entire process. He
even told us things that should have been up to the realtor to explain, but
he assisted us in understanding those as well. Mark even went so far as to
establish our first interview with our real estate agent. He gave us a list
of highly reputable realtors, and advised us on what to look for when
pursuing a realtor.
In short, we met with Mark on Friday, were approved for a loan on Saturday,
decided on a realtor on Monday, looked at houses on Tuesday and Wednesday,
and made an offer (which was immediately accepted) on our new home on
Thursday. This process was so easy for us because of the foundational
services that Mark provided.
After all was said and done, we were so pleased with the entire process...we
can hardly relate to our friends when they complain about the hardships of
buying a home! Mark made the loveliest final gesture when he sent us a
brass doorknocker that was engraved, "Kyle & Catherine Established 2004."
We have an abundance of nice things to say about Mark, and we most certainly
recommend his services to our loved ones. With his help, we were able to
successfully make one of the most important decisions of our lives together,
and we are so very grateful.
