I would like to take a moment to inform you that Anthony Lee is singularly responsible for the unprecedented levels of happiness in my household this holiday season. My wife, Daughter and I are moving into our new home on January 2, 2004 due to the abilities and tenacity of Mr. Lee. Merlin's Mortgage is extremely lucky to have an employee with the capabilities, professionalism and overall work ethic of Mr. Lee. We searched for lenders and brokers for over a month before submitting an application to RealNet Mortgage over the internet. Given certain facets of our pasts, my wife and I knew it would be difficult to secure financing for our new home, however it was the quintessential "dream home" and we were not going down with out a fight. From the first time I spoke with Anthony, I believed that if there were a program available for borrowers like us, he would find it and make it work. He did just that. Working at a hurried pace to close on our home before the first of the New Year, Anthony maintained constant communication with not only myself, but our realtor as well. Anthony called me from his cell phone on the way to his son Anthony Jr.'s football practice, we would e-mail me from home, he took or returned every phone call I made; and trust me, there were many. He became a nervous as we were, his anxiety level rose with ours, his voice shook when mine did; we never felt like a number to him, or even a client, but more rater a friend for whom he was doing a favor. As a Lawyer, I have been around the mortgage industry and real estate for many years. I have dealt with obnoxious real estate agents, lazy paralegals and demanding brokers in the past; but never had I dealt with anyone as professional as Anthony. I would recommend Merlin's Mortgage to anyone looking for a loan based solely on the experience we had working with Anthony. Anthony managed to take an extremely difficult loan during a tumultuous holiday season and make into our personal reality. I recently worked with Anthony Lee @ Merlin's Mortgage in refinancing my home in Longview, Texas. I found RealNet Mortgage through Bankrate.com and Anthony Lee responded to my request. Later, I realized that how lucky I was having Anthony as my mortgage broker. Even though mortgage rate has been in its all time low and refinancing seems easy. But because of my low loan amount, the other companies either gave me very higher rate or asked for very high closing cost.
