We purchased our house 2 years ago, at the time when we bought our house the real estate agent that we were working with suggested to use her mortgage lender. Boy that was a mistake. The loan that he did for us was an adjustable negative amortization loan that was never explained to us properly and how do we know all those terms? Lenny explained those terms to us. We were very unhappy with the loan, the rates kept on going up and we had 3 year pre-payment penalty. We have tried to fix the rate with the bank, they were very helpful of taking our money and did not explain to us that they would only fix the rate for one year and than we would still have to pay penalty to refinance. So finally I gave up and called Lenny Kelman , he explained to us all our options and he even try to talk us out of refinancing now, so we would not pay the pre-payment penalty. But we had it with that bank and we went ahead with the refinance. Lenny acted professionally and we are very satisfied with the whole process. Now I know exactly what type of a loan I have.
