I was raised by a mother who was broker/owner of her own real estate company in Westfield. She and I worked side by side for years, until her retirement. I like to say that I was a real estate "brat" and grew up speaking the language fluently...that is why real estate is natural for me.

Home of Historic Grandmothers' Garden. I worked as a volunteer in the garden, the fundraising for restoration committee and then the board of directors from 1995-2002. This gem of a park is located in the downtown and is a restive oasis.
Upon the demolition of several beautiful and significant historic properties, I banded together with other concerned citizens and created the Preservation Committee within the Western Hampden Historical Society. In addition to informing the community of the importance of preserving our historic buildings, we embarked on fundraisers and community awareness events. Our first and still very popular, was a historic house tour set in December with a Dickens "A Christmas Carol" theme.
Some high school friends and I created the Help Educate Everyday People Scholarship Foundation in 1998. Since the inception we have granted $1,000 each year to a graduate of Southwick-Tolland Regional High School who exemplifies our idea of an "everyday" student.
