My work as a realtor has been recognized by both clients and industry professionals. While this sounds like the typical "realtor brag", I think people looking for a real estate partner want to know who they are working with. PCAR Master's Club, Platinum Rated by www.QualityServiceCertified.com, and RE/MAX Platinum Club, to name some. The most satisfying are client accolades, like "thinks outside the box", "unlocks value like no other". [He included, humbly]
I didn't set out to become the highest volume agent, but to be a boutique realtor catering to buyers and sellers looking for competence and knowledge. I'm not the prettiest realtor around. I like to work with clients who want information - not just data. To me, that means carefully listening to my clients, then asking questions to really understand what they see in their minds-eye. For instance, many clients want a "acreage". I go deeper, and ask, "Is that so you can become a farmer, or raise horses, or are you just looking for a sense of privacy?" 99% of the time, they just want some peace!
I like working with intelligent people. That doesn't always mean well-educated. I find smart people are able to take better advantage of the information I bring to the table; people who appreciate a partner that can help them make decisions. I think I'm good at framing the decision criteria which I have carefully learned from you. It helps you maintain perspective.
Contracts are words to some people, but alive, functioning systems to me. Every contract has terms and conditions that create rights and obligations. Guiding clients through a contract to protect their rights while fulfilling their obligations is the highest service I provide. Instead of being terrified by 27 pages of legaleze, you will fill confident and in control.
Finally, I like techology, and look for ways to invest that knowledge to help you. I'm pretty handy with anything digital, so email is a major part of my communications with clients. Digital photography is a bit of a passion, and I regularly post photos of homes, repairs, neighborhoods, etc, onto my web site for clients. I also make extensive use of digital signatures. This is fairly new, and no, it does not require a "digital pen"! From any email address you can review and sign real estate documents, then print yourself a copy. My web site is www.JScottCarpenter.com
When we finish, I want high grades in the following:
- Knowledge
- Integrity
- Performance - nobody has ever said, "he didn't earn his commission."
One final note of importance to me; each day I pray that my work will reflect the grace of God. I believe in the salvation provided by Jesus Christ. You will not receive a sermon, but I put my Christian faith out there for all to see, and hope you will, too.
