"We recently relocated from El Paso, Texas to Madison, Alabama. During this process, an offer on our El Paso house caused us to accelerate the relocation process. We accepted an offer on 1Dec04 that required us to vacate the house on 19Dec04, a very fast closing! We had made a House-Hunting trip to Alabama where Jennifer had chauffeured us around for a week, all week looking at houses; however, both houses we had chosen already received offers before our house offer in El Paso. And, to really make matters worse, I had to be in Munich, Germany for 9 of those 19 days!
So, here we are with 19 days to find a house, close on a both houses, move and me gone in Germany for close to 1/2 the time... You might ask how we did it... The answer is Jennifer Harris!
Jennifer found us a new house. Negotiated the house to be finished and closed before our arrival. In addition, took care of the inspections, walk-through, final walk through, etc. to get the house completed. Then, Jennifer suggested that we give her a limited power of attorney and she would even close for us since the closing on 20Dec04 was while we were driving 1300 miles to Alabama. Absolutely, excellent personal and caring service!
In addition to the above-and-beyond service mentioned previously, there were some other glitches along the way. Trying to start-up insurance, she recommended an agent and helped us get that setup. No cable, phone or internet buried yet - no problem, Jennifer worked with the builder and local providers and got that taken care of...
Finally, we ran into a problem remotely with Madison Water and Huntsville Utilities where they require in-person applications! So, Jennifer had her realty company, Executive Group, REALTORS setup both utilities for us, IN THEIR NAME, while we got settled.
Jennifer was not only helpful during this move, but instrumental in making it all happen in probably close to record time. In addition, she followed-up with the mortgage company, the title company, etc. to make sure all of their needs were met in this short amount of time.
