Hello there my name is Jared Schmidt and I am a licensed mortgage broker in beautiful Orlando! I have been heavily active in the mortgage industry since finishing college at UCF and have learned the business through trial-by-fire work habits. I have mastered everything from marketing, origination, pricing, placement, processing, closing (I am also a Notary Public) and compliance.

I like to create an environment of learning with my clients so that they understand that this is not a five minute phone call, a rate is fabricated and provided to them so that they can sign on the dotted line and move along. Meeting my clients is a must so that I can fully understand their wishes and background. I want to provide everyone with an opportunity to choose from an array of programs that they may qualify for so that at the end of the deal, everyone can walk away smiling and satisfied!

I can handle everything including residential purchases and refinances, commercial purchases and refinances, small business loans and hard money lending. I really enjoy construction to permanent loans as I love to watch the home from from paper to reality. My main specialty, however, are the hybrid ARMs and option ARMs as I truly understand how they can benefit the right type of borrower.
