My grandfather worked from the time he was 18 years old. He sold cloth and jewelries as  a traveling merchant.  He retired when he was 40 and lived another 38 years without having to work a day in his life. By the time I was born, he owned more than one half of the village I grew up in. He invested. This is what high income professionals should consider.
