     I have joined the real estate world after several other career avenues have been explored!  I have been a University of New Hampshire Communications Instructor for many years, worked as a management analyst for the federal government (long enough to get great retirement and health benefits!) pursued and obtained a law degree, and then lived through Hurricane Katrina when I lived in Mississippi!  That was the straw that literally took the roof off ... and drove my husband and I back to California, where all we  had to worry about was earthquakes -- and they never lasted more than a few seconds!  I am working at John Saar Properties in Carmel, CA - and I am very involved with the MCAR Local Government Committee and the Women's Council of Realtors.  I am enjoying my renewed love for California, (I lived here most of my life) while staying close to my grandchildren!  Fairly new to real estate, I tell people that I have no preconceived notions of what the market was - it seems terrific to me!  I do open houses constantly, have met hundreds of great people looking to find the home of their dreams.  I am here to help them do that!

The more you write about your area's of expertise the more knowledgeable you'll sound to a potential buyer or seller.

     The Monterey Peinsula is trully "Paradise on Earth".  Each day begins with a sigh, for having woken up to another glorious day to celebrate life! My areas of interest here in 'Paradise' include Carmel, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove and of course, Monterey.  Many homes here are higher end homes, but we also appeal to 1st time buyers with more affordable houses in Marina and Seaside.  As a Communications Professional, (I spent over a dozen years teaching Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communications) I find it very easy to relate to any buyers or sellers - and even though I hear it spoken of as a 'down' market right now, I really see it as the best opportunity for investors, first time buyers and even those just wanting to 'move up' in the housing market - to be purchasing a home right now!  I might be the ultimate optimist -- but that's how I see it and I am sticking with it!!
