About Me:
From seeing the world, to selling it
I moved to Georgetown, TX in 2002, heeding the call of God…through government orders that were handed to me by the Army! At the time, I was a Military Intelligence officer coming back from serving almost 4 years in Germany with two deployments under my belt. I expected to finish off my commitment to the Army, marry my college sweetheart and then get a decent job wearing anything but the color green! However, God had different plans for me and a few months after marrying Autumn, I deployed with the 4th Infantry Division and my commitment to active duty was automatically extended. While sitting in one of Saddam Hussein's bombed out palaces in Baghdad, God began to grow a desire in my heart to pursue a career in Real Estate. In October 2003, I finished my online classes and turned in my license for worldwide travel for a license to practice real estate in the state of Texas!
The reason people hire me
Real estate was not a natural progression for me if you look at my educational background. I graduated from the University of Rochester with a major in Public Health and a minor in Legal Studies. Unlike my wife, who graduated Cum Laude with a Pharmacy Doctorate, I squeaked by school and couldn't wait to sink my teeth into the "real" working world. Through my military service, I have been fortunate to learn the life lessons of leadership, integrity, and responsibility that I wouldn't have learned from reading a textbook. When you are entrusted with millions of dollars of equipment, classified information and the very lives of soldiers, you will learn fast! My clients don't hire me for my educational background, they hire me because they know I will treat the purchase or sale of their home as if it were my own. Unlike many agents who practice real estate and have rarely had to relocate, I have called many places home in addition to Georgetown, Texas: California, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Arizona, Louisiana, New York and even various cities in Germany. This has given me the ability to prepare and guide others through a very emotional and sometimes overwhelming experience. Whether the distance is 10 miles within Georgetown or 1000 miles across the country, I've helped many clients call Georgetown home and I want to help you too!
The birth of a vision
After working with a few buyers who had a desire to purchase a custom home, I found myself spending hours researching different builders and communities on dozens of different websites! That has lead to the creation of a Georgetown, Texas Real Estate website. The custom home market is a relatively exclusive niche and many buyers expect to be well informed prior to investing in the home of their dreams. I decided to create and dedicate a concierge service to this segment of the market where custom homebuyers can work with a passionate real estate agent that is intimately familiar with the communities, builders and inventory available in Georgetown, Texas. My goal is to serve my clients and be their advocate during the entire real estate process. I'm very grateful for the referral-based business and client relationships that have partnered with me to buy and sell homes in Greater Austin since 2004. You have helped me earn the 2004 Rookie of the Year award and become the 2005 Top Producer for my office. Thanks for your trust in me!
