I originated mortgages in all 50 states utilizing over 2,000 mortgage programs.  In particular I specialized in the areas of New Construction, Home Equity Purchase Products, and 100% financing.

Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation (Jul '03 to Feb ‘05) 

Lynn was the Vice President of Chase and manager of several offices in the Central Pennsylvania area.  I assisted him in areas of marketing, administration, and technology.  In addition to these duties I originated and marketed for Diane Schadle, a top producing Senior Loan Officer.

Areas of Expertise

I moved to Wells Fargo from Chase Manhattan to take advantage of Wells Fargo's tremendous breadth.  Wells Fargo has over 2000 different loans and continually establishes itself as an industry leader through innovation, technology and service.  Where most loan officers will only take advantage of a hand full of different loan types, I enjoy exploring all of a customers options.  This is not to say that I am a jack of all trades and master of none.  My experience in New Construction and Home Equity Loans sets me apart from my competitors.

I helped develop a Construction-Modification Loan with PA State Bank and Wells Fargo.  Where most construction loans lack flexibility and are laden with extra costs, this loan uses local relationships to circumvent the extra fees of a Modification or Double Close Loan and allows the customer to utilize nearly all of our 2000 different loans for their permanent financing.  In addition to being structurally sound in this area, I have the necessary experience to explain your taxes and legal fees, your long term lock options and escrowing for work to be completed.

This is an industry that is ever changing.  That is in part why I utilize all of the loans available.  The complacent loan officer is often left behind trying to close loans using outdated guidelines.  Home Equity Loans have just begun to revolutionize the housing industry.  They are the vessel that has opened up the housing market to 100% financing.  They have allowed for an alternative to paying Mortgage Insurance (previously not a tax deductible housing expense).    Currently they are evolving to become more streamline and offer more options.  Did you know that you can buy a house that otherwise would not be acceptable collateral to the major investors (such as a non FNMA approved condo or a dilapidated property) at 100% financing, interest only and waiving escrows using only Home Equity Products with only 50% of your income being residual and only a 680 credit score?  This is an extreme case that is not always the best option for a primary residence, but it can be a great option for investors.

These are the aspects of my job that excite me.  It's in this aspect that I partner with David Bach and Wells Fargo to inspire, educate and enable 10 million Americans to buy their first home, second home or investment property in the next three years.  It's the Great American Home Owner Challenge as portrayed in David Bach's book the The Automatic Millionaire Homeowner.  There are many myths holding people back from buying new and existing houses.  Let's build your dream home starting with an education in what loans work best for you.
