About Karen Hodge
I am a North Carolina native having been born and raised in Yadkin County, west of Greensboro North Carolina. My youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organization centered around school, church, family and athletics. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a B.S. Degree in Banking and Economics. Having been relocated by my husband's career three different times, including a job assignment in Ireland, I understand the trials and tribulations of buying and selling your home, packing up and moving your family and other valuables to a new location.
About Wendell Hodge
I am also a North Carolina native like my wife Karen. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. Degree in Business and Economics. I worked for seventeen years for an international textile company and relocated several times. Working close with people, information and negotiating was an everyday part of my past experience.
We are both full time and full service NC real estate broker/REALTORS. We have been married for 20 years and have the tenacity and patients to work through the toughest transactions.

We specialize in Piedmont Triad NC real estate by representing buyers and sellers in the buying and selling of single-family property in the Triad MLS area of NC. We have sold over 20 million dollars worth of property in the last three years and have the experience to make your transaction as stress free as possible. We believe in customer service and do everything possible to treat you like you want to be treated. We have a strong team of lenders, attorneys, inspectors and contractors if you need assistance in all or any of these areas during the real estate transaction. References are available.
We are power users of the internet and computers and stay up to date on technology to assist you. If you are not local at anytime during the real estate transaction we can conduct the entire home buying or selling process from your home or office anywhere in the world.

"The Brick" is the affectionate name we gave to our favorite home, one of many, shown to us by Karen Hodge of Remax of Greensboro. We are Vince and Joan of New Jersey, and have worked with Karen for nearly a year in our relocation process to North Carolina. There is no way we can adequately describe the organized, efficient, affable and patient service we received from Karen. She was available to us nearly 24/7, answering all our questions, doing all our research, and making us feel like we were her only clients.
When we were ready to make our final decision, Karen prepared all the necessary paper work, scheduled all the appointments for inspections etc., and attended the inspections as well, as we were still living in NJ. She kept in close contact with us at every turn.
On closing day, Karen's husband Wendell (they work as a team), came with us to our home-to-be in order to ensure that all was in order. Without his expertise, we would not have known what still needed attention before signing the final papers. We had some stressful moments, but Karen and Wendell remained cool, calm, collected yet firm during the entire process.
Now we are the happy and very satisfied owners of a beautiful home in Winston-Salem, NC, which, we must add, is very near to our children and grandchildren.
We cannot thank Karen and Wendell Hodge enough for giving us the opportunity to say, "Welcome to 'The Brick'".
