I love real estate, and after being in the business for 3 years, I know that what I do is my passion. I am currently working towards building my own real estate investment portfolio, and even starting a business in the near future to help others wishing to invest in real estate as well. In my free time, I love to play golf and many other sports including basketball, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, softball, and football. I enjoy reading, but sometimes have a difficult time staying motivated to make the time to sit and read. I love horseback riding, traveling, cars, and especially being outdoors. I love camping and hiking, although I don't do enough of that anymore.
I am Birmingham native, having a passion for homes since an early age. My passion led me towards a degree in Architecture from an early age at Shades Valley High School before going on to Auburn University, where I pursued a double major in both Architecture and Interior Architecture. While at school, I was part of Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity where I was involved in numerous service-related projects such as the Lee County Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity. After working for the University with both the Athletic Department as well as the College of Agriculture as a web developer. I decided to pursue my passion of Real Estate into a career by obtaining my license in late 2004, specializing in Real Estate investments as well as first-time home buyers and Luxury Homes.
In January of 2006, I married my best friend, Jessica. She has been such an inspiration to me, and I don't think I would have survived the tough times this business can bring about had she not stood strongly by my side. We currently reside in north Shelby county where we attend and are involved with Church of the Highlands. The Lord has truly blessed us, and continues to do so through our new friendships and opportunities. We hope to start a family next year, and look forward to purchasing our own home very soon as well.
I volunteer my time with an international youth ministry called YoungLife (http://www.younglife.org/). Their mission is to bring the words of Christ to kids all over the world and create life-long relationships in the process. I was involved with YoungLife in high school, and have since worked as a summer staffer at a camp in North Carolina, and now as a volunteer leader with Oak Mountain Middle School. My greatest joy is seeing God work in the lives of kids, and sharing my faith and my knowledge of life with them. I hope to very soon restart my involvement with Habitat for Humanity, because I love the idea of using real estate as a charitable outreach ministry.
My Mission Statement is my core, and I sincerely hope that anyone who meets me will be able to say that it really does define me. It is:
"For those that I have been fortunate to have known, it is my hope that you have been inspired to achieve the impossible with spiritual humility. I promise to devote my love and knowledge of life to those wishing to accomplishing their dreams. It is my prayer that all those I meet will know that I am a man of God and that His love for me has made all these things possible. as a result, I will better my life and others daily with integrity, compassion, and humility as my guides."
