Hi, my name is Susie. I recently moved to Pocatello from out of state. My family and I love living here and feel that we have finally come home! I am an advancing photographer and have recently completed a course in Architectural lighting and am continuing to take photography courses to improve my skills. I have the equipment, knowledge and desire to take stunning photographs of your property. I have always had an obsession with looking at homes in home parades, new construction around our neighborhood, looking at house plans, etc... and real estate photography gives me the opportunity to see a home at all angles. I strive to take photos at the best angles, in the best light, which means I bring my own!
I am not only interested in taking photographs of any home, but also would love to teach mini workshops on how to take better mls photos at your brokerage. Contact me an we can discuss specifics.
Some common MLS eye-sores:
*a cluttered kitchen counter complete with full dish drainer- imression? This home has no dishwasher/cupboard space is sparce!
*a trash can in every room- hmmm, the owners have a lot of trash? or there is not enough space in cabinets for the trash cans.
*sideways photos- lazy or technologically challenged realtor, or perhaps, 'the bathroom is so small, we thought you might not notice the size if the photo is wonky'
*beautiful furniture that fills the frame- is the furniture included in the sale?...maybe the realtor just wants to reassure that the sellers are people possessing good taste.
*one lonely photo, or worse, none!..- again, lazy realtor? or... "Trust us, you don't want to see this house...but we want you to buy it" the photos were so bad, they weren't usable, or "we need a REALLLY quick sale!!!"
*blown-out windows (you know, where it looks like "a nuclear bomb just exploded" in the backyard- the impression here isn't so bad. It happens- even to pros with scads of lights, and sometimes it isn't a big deal....unless the glow overflows into the rest of the room making it hazy, (which it usually does), or if you want potential buyers to see the view or the backyard (which you usually do)
*a few photos, highly pixelated, blurry, overall terrible - were these taken with your cell phone!? this realtor doesn't sell enough homes to afford a decent camera, and the problem is going to perpetuate...
*20-something blurry, dark, and otherwise un-professional photos of a half-million dollar home?!- the seller's agent wanted to get lots of photos, but just doesn't have the equipment to do it right. There is no reason not to hire Picture Book Acres to photograph a more expensive or luxury home.
No matter what the listing price of the property, a great realtor should pull out all the stops to get it sold. Set your listings apart, show your clients you are really trying; they will love you for it!
I can't guarantee higher offers, and faster sales, but I can make your listing photos the best in the area! I believe you will see the results. Buyers aren't looking for great descriptions, they are looking at the pictures! Let the pictures tell the story!
