Welcome! My name is Doug Moore, REALTOR®, in the Blue Ridge and Ellijay in the North Georgia Mountains.
I officially moved to Blue Ridge Georgia with my wife and 1 year old daughter in 2005 after an entire life-time of visiting with my family. Over the years of visiting I have grown a sincere passion for the beauty and community of this area. Entire summers and fall breaks were spent exploring the Cohutta Wilderness, Hiking the Applachian Trail or Benton McKay Trail, rafting the Ocoee River, and fishing the Toccoa River. I was fortunate to attended Young Harris College, near Blairsville, very close to Blue Ridge, and to call the area home for two years. Then I went into full-time ministry as a Program Director at Asbury Hills Camp and Retreat Center in Cleveland, SC. My passions are experiencing God's awe-inspiring creation, children and bringing the two together.
A couple of years ago, we finally got a chance to come back to our roots in Blue Ridge and to work in Real Estate with a friend. Since then my family has seen so many good things happen. We found the perfect home for our little family, soon to be expanding by one. We found a great church, Crosspoint Church, that has imbraced us with open arms and has become our family. We have also helped many friends find homes that suited their particular situation well.
