We have been involved in the construction industry for 35 years working as a carpenter and in supervisory positions.  We are able to provied the home buyer or seller, in addition to a Professional Home Inspection, possible solutions to defects that arise during the inspection.  This is especially valuable to the first time home buyer. There is no reason to reject a home for a repair that can be fixed for a few dollars at the local home center. 

     We can arange additional inspection services such as Wood Destroying Insect inspection, Well inspection, Septic inspection, Drinking Water testing, Radon testing, and other environmental testing.  These services are performed by other local providers.  Billing is handled seperately for each additional service except the drinking water testing.  We prefer to be paid at the time of inspection but are willing to send our invoices to the title company for payment at closing.

     We enter the inspection information on a computer and print the report at the end of the inspection for the buyer or seller.  We then e-mail a copy to their agent later in the day.  This way both parties can discuss the inspection with their copies in hand.  Inspection results for additional services are faxed directly to the agent.  This insures that they are available in a timely manner for the process and not lost during the hectic time of moving from one home to another.

     Our service has been very valuable to the first time home buyer.  We offer extra information that is needed to own and successfully operate a home.  Our report contains 20 pages of information and we offer a Home Maintenance Manual and a instructional DVD as a bonus to our normal service.  Our construction knowledge allows us to explain in detail how a particular area of a home is likely constructed and why it is or isn't correctly done.
