I am not only a loan officer, but an owner operator also. I have been in the mortgage industry for 11 years and have seen programs come and go and have been able to excel in good and not so good times. What sets me apart from your typical loan officer is exceptional customer service, product knowledge, my ability to forecast problems before they occur. When choosing a loan couselor it is very important to interview them and make sure that they aren't just telling you what they think you want to hear, it is better to give brutal facts than to sugar coat the situation and deliver realistic options later. I consider myself a loan counselor instead of a loan officer because I set down face to face with all of my clients within 24 hours of taking the application and go through their loan scenario and make sure they know all facets of the loan before we get started processing the deal. After we meet for the first time and start the process my clients recieve a phone call and an e-mail update each time that something is accomplished in the loan process. Both myself and my processor hold the clients hand throughout the process and the client and all parties involve are always in the know. We a very thourough and therefore our files take precedent when the underwriters get the files. This key to have as a consumer because it allows us to close your loans with 7-10 days from start to finish. The most important characteristic that sets me apart from most other loan officers is that I genuinely care about each and every file and take pride in putting my name on my work.
