My original involvement in real estate was acquiring investment properties for rental purposes! At that point it was a stepping stone that had me thinking about going into real estate in the future. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and I have over 20 years experience dealing with small, medium and large companies. Before moving to North Carolina in May 2004 I was training to take over the controller position at Oldcastle APG Northeast, Inc. in Manassas, VA. I obtained my Virginia and West Virginia real estate licenses in February 2004 in preparation to work for Thelma Ratliff at A New Century Realty. My husband and I moved to Shallotte, NC in May 2004 along with other family members who had already relocated here. I obtained my North Carolina real estate license in October 2005.
