About Us:

CRDesign Events & Staging was formed by Candice & Richard Blakeslee, a husband and wife team, in August 2007. Our goal is to help sellers affordably transform their home into a listing that gets noticed and sells quickly.

New to the Asheville area, but no stranger to home staging, we were inspired to open up shop after the local real estate who sold us our home asked us to help her stage one of her listings.

Although we both have full-time jobs in other professions, our passion for inventive, tasteful, and economical solutions to home design and merchandising have inspired us to take on this new chapter in our lives...home staging.

With Richard's background in architecture, construction, and design, he is able to envision and create rooms that can completely transform the feel, energy, and efficiency of a home. Richard is resourceful and artistic; he is constantly sketching ideas of ways to recreate spaces. He has the experience and know-how to make a big impact with little effort.
