Triangle Native....Triangle Educated...Triangle Family.
I was born in Durham, NC where I lived and learned until attending school at NC State University in Raleigh. When I graduated college, I went to work for what is now Bank of America as a Commercial Banker. This provided me with great knowledge of finace and investment - and let's face it, your home is probably your single greatest investment!
I spent 9 years in banking before getting married to my wife, Nancy - who is a UNC-CH graduate. For anyone who knows - we Wolfpackers and Tar Heels don't often get along, but she is a gracious winner and I've got plenty of experience being a good sport too.
After my banking career, where I worked throughout NC, we decided to move back to the Triangle, and specifically Raleigh. We've been back since 1996, and not only did this area change dramatically since my old college days, the pace of change has only increased! Personally, it's a good thing I like women - because I have 4 at home - Nancy, and my two daughters Mary Margaret and Kate, and our beloved black Lab Lucy.
My stepmother, Laura Bromhal, was the top producer for downtown Raleigh's #1 company, what is now York Simpson Underwood. She hired me as a Buyer's Agent, and I've never looked back at the corporate world. In 2007, I decided to expand my responsibilities and fly solo. I now help friends, past clients, and those that are referred to me buy or sell homes all over the Triangle. I've been fortunate enough to represent everything from a single female selling her $80,000 condo in Durham to a family of 4 relocating from Texas who bought a $1 million home.
