Use this section to write about yourself - don't be shy - Why should a buyer or seller want to work with you? Do you have any certifications and qualifications? What sets you apart from other agents/loan officers?
My first career of over 20 years was in Marketing, planning and business development in Corporate and Government environments. This experience taught me a lot about working with people in complex environments and situations, managing clients, resources/finances and time to achieve defined outcomes. My approach to Real Estate is no different -it is all about managing mine and my clients time and resources to achieve a defined outcome or goal and to do this in a professional, knowledgeable, courteous and responsive manner.
Moving from one country to another (originally from Australia) and living in 5 different States in the USA in the last 9 years, has certainly enhanced my appreciation of relocation effects and demands on clients -be it an international relocation, interstate or just a new home in the same area! There are a myriad of activities Realtors do to streamline the process to achieve the client's goals but only 40% of it is visible to the client.
The most rewarding aspect of being a Realtor is getting to know my clients (often making new friends!) and managing the sale or buy process for them; effectively taking the burden off their shoulders. If at the end the transaction the client says 'I know someone who wants to buy/sell a house and I am going to refer you to him/her' then I feel as though I have been successful.
My aim has been to learn as much about this industry as possible. In addition to my MBA I have CHMS (Certified Home Marketing Specialist) accreditation, Luxury Home Specialist accreditation, ABR trained (will qualify by end of September), GRI in process (will complete by the end of the year) and am also undertaking New Home Construction Specialist (NHCS) training.
