6 Comments on Question: Is this too much information for an e-mail blast?
Way to much! I hope you are sending this to legitimate prospects, not just to every Realtor in town. Nothing is worse than a ton of spam in my mailbox each morning. I always unsubscribe the ones that get through my filters, than mark them as spam. My ISP reports them to spamhaus etc.

I should clarify this is being sent to an "Opt-In" list of people who have asked to be sent information on real estate auctions.
We really don't send anything to realtors unless they have specifically asked for information or happen to be on one of our e-mail lists.
It is also sent as a "response piece" to people who have inquired about the auction from the signs, newspaper ads, Interent ads, eBay bidding, blog ads, etc.
If you want to see what a *LOT* of information is click the link to download the Digi-Bip (Digital Bidder Information Package) with contracts, pictures, diclosures, home inspection, etc.
Thanks for the quick feedback but let me restate we NEVER send unsolicited e-mail this is an e-mail to a specialized opt-in list of 300,000 people and several "boutique" lists of auction buyers we have developed with 300 to 10,000 names on each one.
Yes. Way too much for a general blast. If it is solely an opt-in list, then maybe strip down some of the header graphics and just focus on the property... after all, you don't need to sell you anymore... they opted in.
My theory on email distribution is to put just enough in to get them to come to the website. If I can drive them to the website with the email, I call that a victory. If it is compelling it will create action. If there is too much information it becomes numbing.
