Residents of the town of Sherman, Connecticut are scheduled to vote on the town budget on Saturday, May 12, 2007.

The proposed 2007-2008 budget (combined municipal and schools) represents an approximate 4% increased over the 2006-2007 budget.  If the budget is approved, the mill (tax) rate would change from 15.4 to 16.0.

A Town Budget Hearing will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Sherman School Multipurpose Room.

The town budget vote will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm at the Mallory Town Hall, located at 9 Route 39 North, Sherman.
