Let's see, member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and the Daytona Beach Association of Realtors. OK, we have the Florida Real Estate Commission, the Realtor Code of Ethics, our Board Rules and Company Policy, I think you get the message. Lots of rules but what about MY CODE OF HONOR?
I will always educate and encourage homeownership and all the benefits that come with it. It is my responsibility as a Realtor to preserve my profession as I truly believe what I do is a true and honorable service.
I know in my heart it is a privilege to work with a customer, therefore I will value them, all of them.
I will walk away from a customer if they are working with another agent. Why, it's the right thing to do!
I live by the golden rule! Cooperation. Violate a law or rule or try to entice me to do either. Plain and simple, I'll report you, that way I will do a service for my entire profession.
Regardless of how rude or obnoxious a co-operating broker is, I will do my job and do it objectively.
I will tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Every human being on the planet deserves it!
Every decision I make in a transaction will always be in the best interest of my customer. I know if I treat my customer right, income will follow!
I believe our main focus should be on problem solving and finding a solution. Why the heck do you think the public needs us?
I believe that it's our responsibility to educate the public. We set the trends and spend all our time in the trenches. Who better than us to report the FACTS!
I believe it is my responsibility to continually educate and train. My objective is always to do the very best I can.
I believe that I must participate in various activities, volunteer activities, I have a voice and I am going to use it.
I believe in balance. Personally and professionally my life must be fulfilling, otherwise I will not be able to give the quality service that every single customer deserves!
Do you walk the walk and talk the talk, going above and beyond the call of duty? The real question is do you have high standards? Your own personal policy, how about a Code of Honor?
Just said good night to my Bible Study ladies and came across your post. We actually discussed integrity tonight. Our study discussed that the only thing we have coming ang going from this world is our name. Whether we strengthen it or tarnish it is what's in between. Thanks for your code of honor idea. I'm challenged to use yours as a template and write one for myself. Great standard to live by.
