Pam, this does seem to simplify things!  I also agree it would be nice if there was a way that this was done automatically by AR.  Also to make it easier to sort throught the pages on the individual AR's Blogs

Pam, this is a great idea.  Do you put it at the end of each of your Blog Posts or just every time you fill up one of your AR pages.  Those pages are hard to sorth through.  I usually just stop searching at page one. 

Ted, I hadn't really thought about that.  I might just attach it to the bottom of each of my Blogs. That would probably be the easiest to find.  However, you wouln't find it if you were just looking for my "Table of Contents"  I'll have to think about that.  Thanks for that question!

What a great idea Pam.  I typically try to reference a previous blog that relates to my current post by providing a link but I like your idea.  You've got me thinking and that can be a dangerous thing.  LOL  Hope your day is a great one and thank you for the post. ~ Anne Marie

Pam,  Looks like a great idea.  Even better if it was automated on by AR. 

Ohhh, I just had to go through about 5 pages of another AR's posts to find something I could comment on.... It was tedious.  We really do need something automated.

I look through the groups I have joined, generally, and post to ones of interest. It IS hard to search a subject.

I do several things:

1. For those who have visited me and commented on my blog entries, I'll visit them and comment on theirs. I do have guidelines, though, for when I won't comment when I visit someone else.
2. I visit my groups and comment there if I'm in a hurry to get my 10 pointed comments in for the day. Then, later, if I have time, I'll do some more comments. I don't have any problem doing more than 10 comments a day; it's about creating friendships and business relationshps, not getting points. Points just make it more fun.
3. Links to my blog entries are at the bottom of each of my blog entries. However, it's a ongoing process so that my most recent blog entry might have 50 links, whereas the blog entry 50 blog entries ago has no links. I'm working on a master list, which I'll probably post on my web site, and then I can easily rotate links on and off of my blog entries.

I'm taking the afternoon off to go visit some museums down in Balboa Park, but I had to come over here to see what Pam's been up to before I go.

Hi Pam what a great concept. I love it. It is funny that you say there should be a way to have the ability to search for whatever topic we are looking for. Many times I was looking for something. (I am so Google Trained)  I put the info into the search button on AR expecting to get my info just to realize that it is a Google Search.

Pam:  that is a pretty incredible list you have put together.  Very impressive... thanks for sharing.  There is so much to learn here on Active Rain... if we only stop and take the time to learn it.  I don't do enough of it, and I really need to.
