The Washington Post Real Estate section will feature Belmont Bay in Prince William County in a "Where We Live" article on Saturday.  Ann Cameron-Siegal with the Washington Post spent hours in the community a few weeks ago talking to residents and taking pictures.  I spent time with her giving her a tour of homes for sale in the neighborhood and providing statistic on sales this year.  Personally I've closed six transactions in Belmont Bay this year and have 2 more pending sales.  The market is HOT in the Belmont Bay community.

Belmont Bay is the premier waterfront community on the Occoquan River with resort style amenities for everyone to enjoy.  What makes the neighborhood even more unique is the Virginia Rail Express Station (VRE) right in the community.  Add the golf course, marina, tennis courts, waterfront paths and community pool and you get a picture of why the resident of the neighborhood feel that they have found a hidden gem.

If you live in Northern Virginia pick up your Washington Post this weekend.  Then head on down to see me at HarborSide Condominiums on Sunday between 12-5 for more information on the Belmont Bay community.

Congratulations, Cindy!  'Glad the reporter identified you as the "go to" real estate expert for the area, since no one knows it better than you do.  'Hope you get a mention in her article.

Cindy-nice work!  I know Belmont Bay is hopping these days and I'm sure the article will send more buyers your way!

Margaret-Don't know whether I will be quoted in the article but do know that today I wrote another offer on new construction in the neighborhood and have two prospective buyers for properties in the community.  On top of sales in the community this year I've done 6 rentals as well :-)

Pat-I'm sure the article about the community will surprise people as we still get the "I didn't even know this was here" statement all the time.  I've done my part to show the community off and as still busy with prospective buyers who are impressed with what Belmont Bay has to offer.

Cindy, Sounds like a great waterfront community.  Good Luck on Sunday.

Steve-thanks I put together an offer yesterday on one of the units so I'm hopeful that the newspaper article will bring more people to check out the terriffic neighborhood.

To Marvin Iavecchia.  After reading your long comment on my blog I made the hard decision to delete it.  Your issue is with Stanley Martin and not about the Belmont Bay Community as a whole.

I understand your frustration and hope that you have sought legal advice on how to come to a settlement with Stanley Martin on the issues with your townhouse.

Cindy, congratualtions on your continued press coverage as the expert for Belmont Bay.  When I was about to make a sale there, I called on you first to get some more details about the community.  It's definitely a great community and I closed one condo there last month and have a pending townhouse sale.

Brian-congratulations I saw your closing River Club 1 and the townhouses are selling like hotcakes too.  I have one ratified new construction contract and another contract out on an REO property awaiting a response.  The article brought a lot of traffic here this weekend including a couple I met with today from DE!

Cindy,  I love to hear about thriving markets. This is defintely a very challenging time that we all do business in right now. We have to keep the faith and keep plugging. The tide will turn.

My best.   Monica from Ocean City, Maryland

Monica-this has certainly been an interesting year.  I've seen both the good and bad of the market, agents and processes.  I'm glad to have the opportunity to have been involved in it and learn new skills.

Angelica-thanks for the compliment on the map.  I create my own maps.  I had just wrote a post entitled Filing for Copyright Protection about my maps.  The biggest hint I pass on regarding maps is Adobe Illustrator.  Otherwise for obvious reasons keeping the details underwrap helps keep the maps unique.
