I didn't use to listen to news in the morning until 9/11. I was an evening news guy. 9/11, though, taught me to check on the news first thing in the morning to what the East Coast is up to and what happened overnight in the rest of the world while I was sleeping peacefully.

Seems each morning when I turn on the television to check on the news, there's fifteen more political polls about everything that I just really don't care about. Why don't they spend all that valuable time and their resources discussing issues.
