I Lurked, I Learned, I Lunged

Ok, so it isn't nearly as good as Ceasar's Veni, Vedi, Vici because there is no way I could have come, saw and conquered. But, I did at last decide it was time to lunge into the rain. Watching all of you in ActiveRain and especially the Stage it Forward group have so much fun, sharing with and learning from one another made me decide that even if I didn't know how to navigate the whole place I better get in on the happenings anyway and learn as I go. Besides that, I hated getting those messages which said I couldn't look at certain information because I wasn't a member or logged on. What information lurks in those elusive spots, I'm bound to discover now. So you home stagers, Realtors and the rest of the wild, wild crew, for what it is worth -- may I join your party?

Sabine, I didn't think there would be a lot of us up at this time on a Sunday evening. I thought I would try this new trick of posting, check to see if I had hit the correct button and then mossey on over to the bed. Then, low and behold, someone had welcomed me in. Thanks! We have a daughter who lives in one of the suburbs of Denver, Westminster. We enjoy our Colorado visits, but not as frequently as we would like.

Joelle, Good Deal! It is nice to know we took the leap at the same time. I see you and I have the whole visual display thing in common. I had studied Interior Design in college (dropped out -- woe is me) but talked the personel manager at Sears into trying me when I found they had an opening. I really did love the job. Worked my way to the title of Visual Display Manager for my particular store. What I have often said is this "great big title" came with a "very small" paycheck. Oh well, I learned a lot and had fun doing it. Welcome to you too.
