Those pictures and video were great.  Did you take the video of the frog?  I love the mountains and the picture of the lake.  What a wonderful variety you have available to you out there.

Hi Jeanean, it is easy to see why you would hang your hat in Redding & Shasta.  Living close to nature has some real benefits that are difficult to describe.  I have been a city dweller most of my life and side walks have been a way of life.  I do cherish the times that I spend in communities like yours.  Very nice photos and post Jeanean.
