6 Dead in Skagit County Shootings!

Today was a crazy day for everyone involve in Skagit County. First of all, I would like to give my best

wishes to all the families of the 6 victims. Their is still a lot of unknow info in this case. It all started today

around 2:00 p.m. When a 911 call was recieved stating that someone had been shot! After a series of

events of the next couple hours. It all ended with the suspect being arrested, but the damage was done.

He killed 6 people including a Deputy (Ann Jackson) and injured many others. All the information they

released about the suspect was that he was an 28 year old Alger man. Also they said the mans mother

has tried several times to commit him to a mental hospital. All this went down in the tiny crime free town

of Alger. More information will be released tommorow after further investigation. Tip Line - 360-419-3257.

Andy ~ This is really sad and unfortunate. Where is Skagit County? Your county? I only watched a couple minutes of the news this morning before I turned it off, I was tired of hearing about McCain and his running mate! So, I may have missed this story. Surely, it would be on the morning news shows. Very tragic!

Hey Andy. I dont live all that far from where this happened and it sure stops and makes you think about things. It's been on the news a lot and I was just hearing minutes ago about updates on the investigation. Well wishes to all the families.

Thanks for all of your condolences to the families. I have heard that he was mentally-ill, not sure what made him snap.

@Michael ~ Apparently he had some serious mental problems. One of the victims was my friend's father. It was really, really sad to hear that this had happened.
