I bloged about two weeks ago how I felt that things had started to turn and I was seeing buyers active appearing more positive.

inventory swells is not good news.. what good is cheerleading? how about a better business plan?

From the Reuters Article "Existing-Home sales rise, inventory swells" article by Patrick Rucker on August 25th 2008 you'll find the following talking points:

• "Home resales rose 3.1 percent to a 5 million-unit annual rate, according to the National Association of Realtors."
• "Generally we have re-established the sideways pattern in existing home sales since October"
• "Sales have rebounded in many markets in the West and Florida recently where prices have tumbled"
• "Right now the sign is encouraging, not that it's over, but you're starting to see a bottom"

Perhaps you should have actually read the article before insulting me?  Yes, there is mixed news in the article but it is not the nothing but doom and gloom stories that were being reported a couple months ago.  I never claimed that the market is booming or that everything is all better across the board, just that The News Media is STARTING to see the housing Recovery/Rebound as the title of this blog post says.  There is GOOD news to report!

I don't have a link for it, but there was a positive article in Time Magazine a while back.
