Remember not to spread yourself too thin. I believe that any good site—ActiveRain, LinkedIn, MerchantCircle, etc.—can work well for you if you'll be persistent and consistent in determining how that site works and then working it for all its worth. However, if you spend all your time at those sites, not to mention all the blogging sites and the social networking sites like MySpace and YouTube, you might be losing focus on what actually makes you money: your business.
If you think there are better benefits elsewhere, for whatever reason, then work that other site persistently and consistenly, and I believe you'll see similar results.
I like it here at ActiveRain for many reasons, all of which start with the letter P:
Profit
People who want to profit
Professional people who want to profit
Personable, professional people who want to profit
Polite, personable, professional people who want to profit
Positive, polite, personable, professional people who want to profit
Pleasant, positive, polite, personable, professional people who want to profit
I agree, you can go bonkers trying to keep up with all those sites. I primarily focus on Active Rain because I've had success her & so have many others.
Very well put and creative ! MAybe you can do my branding!
