That is my question. I have found that why taking extra time & money, I prefer to preview listings before showing propertys to clients. Some agents I have talked to say they never preview propertys.  I always try to keep up with inventory, but you can't see everything. So after showing a vacant home & finding a "unauthorized" person  inside, it was a little scary & embarrasing. I think it pays to "VU" Do You?

It depends, after working with a client for just so long, you know what they want. It saves time to preview a property to see if it is for your client. I often do this, if I don't think it's right I do not have my client go through and I let them know what I saw. I have never had a client want to see one that I did not recommend.

I think it's a good idea to preview, because sometimes, you can have a really unpleasant surprise waiting for you inside. It's not always possible to preview homes first, but as a general rule, I think it's a good idea.

If I get the chance I like to know what the inventory is and therefore preview homes and attend the brokers tours in my area.
