Now is the time of year that you need to set aside time and plan for next year. By taking the time to review what happened this year, you will be able to develop a plan to increase profits next year.  The easiest way to be successful is to plan for it. So, if you want to make sure that next year is both productive and profitable, ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Do you know how much you earned this year (net...not gross)?
  2. Do you know how you performed over the year before?
  3. Did you reach all of the goals that you set out for yourself in this year
  4. Do you know what your goals are for for next year?

If you answered "NO" to any of these questions then we would like to suggest that you take some time now and establish your strategy for for next year. For additional information and guidance on this topic we have posted an informative article on our website entitled "Ten Ways To Get A Jump On next year".

I will schedule time in November to plan for a successful next year. By planning now, I will start the New Year with my strategies and plans in place and ready to be implemented. With my plan in place I will be focused on the bottom line and my net profits will increase.

I always think that what I do today puts bread on the table in about three months.  Planning is an integral part of being a successful agent.  Those periods in which I have slacked always catch up with me a couple of months later.  How correct you are, planning now for launching a great 2009!
