Thursday, beautiful Thursday.  It is my day to take off.  I put on jeans and a t-shirt on Thursdays and don't worry if my hair isn't the best it has looked all week long.  Since Saturdays are always busy real estate days and Sunday afternoons can be also, I have to make time for myself and my family.  So Thursday seems like a good day for that.

Running errands, washing clothes, cooking, shopping, paying bills, doing the little things that get put off until the last minute make Thursday a busy day.  Taking the time to watch a movie or sit on the back porch just listening to the sounds of little birds that come to the bird feeders can be so special when the usual is rush, rush.  I love Thursdays.  It has become a good habit.                            deer visiting in winter

I could not find a good picture of my bird feeders so here is one of a deer in the back yard.  Can you see quiet?  In this picture you can.

What day is your Thursday?

Ricki, I see quiet and it's beautiful. We all need one of those days each week to just meditate, relax and enjoy our moments. This is a great picture. Sitting...it's a good thing. Not always but on occasion. That's for sure. I'm glad you had a good Thursday. Hello to Don. Keep that beautiful smile.

Hi Ricki... I like the stillness of your photo.  It's calming after a LONG day.  I could use a Thursday every now and then. :)

It really is a great idea to have a "schedule".  Part of that schedule needs to be a day off or two that you take without fail.

We get caught up in the caught up so much that we lose sight that life we are strugling to BUILD is actually our LIFE!

That's right, Ron,     The life we are building is passing us by so we must enjoy it too.  All work and no play...

We all need quiet time, time for ourselves.  At least I know I do.  I usually try to have a day like that in the middle of the week.

Hi Shirley,    The middle of the week seems to work best if you try to be consistent in this business.  Have a good one. :)

Howdy Ricki

I have to tell you my friend, I am bad about not really taking time for myself.

I sure did enjoy this post and your photo in it!

I could see the quiet in the photo.

Hello Ricki - this is Ceil.

I enjoyed your post. From one that ran a business and raised "Carl" and two son's I understand that having balance in your life is important. Be good to yourself and the world will be good to you is what my mom use to  say.

Hi Dale,    You and I both probably need to take more time "just Sittin".    My folks would never have understood this busy we call life today. :)

Hi Ceil,    She was right.  That generation really would not understand our fast pace today.  It is good to stop and really "Take stock" of what is important.  It helps you to slow down.  Have a great day Ceil! :)
