Alot of agents like to pay someone to go around an area and do the door hangers, DONT DO IT!!  I been doing the door hangers and 50% of the time I will meet some of the owners and get to know them.

DONT PAY SOMEONE, GET OUT A DO IT AND MEET THE OWNERS!!

That makes sense Johnathan. I need to start doing this again. Thanks for the marketing tip.

It really does work.  I started it about 2 weeks ago.  What I do is once I find a FSBO I hit the block up that day with my doorhangers and then I wait about 3 days to contact the FSBO.  The best part is that everytime the FSBO's stated "I KNOW YOU FROM SOMEWHERE?"

LOL

But as I am walking around I have talked to a number of home owners that was thinking about selling.

TRY IT OUT AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS FOR YOU!!!

Just curious, what kind of door hanger do you use?  Is the for a CMA?  I have seen several different kind, just wonder what works best for you.

I agree, nothing better than walking the neighborhood on a sunny day and seeing someone mowing a lawn who needs a reason to take a break.  Walking up to them and personally giving them a door hanger will get much more attention.
