I will make this just short and sweet to read, but I am very excited on it all.

Yeah, you read it right. Just thought I would share with everyone that I am just got into escrow with my first buyer, (personal friend of mine). It is a very exciting time and now I just want to close something from Active Rain.

Any advice out there just let me hear it!

Thats cool. I am glad you are getting the job done and getting some money back to your bank account! I wish I knew of this place when I first started. It would  have made a difference starting at the end of last year rather than 2 months ago.

Good job.

Thank you tons. I wish I knew about this site earlier as well. I love the community of people and I feel everything to be positive feedback from one another.

now I just want to close something from Active Rain.

Congrats on your first deal, Dominic!

My suggestion for capturing some AR business is that you should probably start blogging 4 or 5 times per week.  We have a ton of great things in the OC.  Let people know about our county!

Good for you. I am so happy for you.  I am jumping through hoops hoping to do the same.  Keep up the good work.  Keep finding those great clients.

P.S.  I was going to say more, but Robert Machado already said it here:

Thanks all, I agree with the more blogs a week. OC is a great place and many people love the area.

This is so exciting!  I wish you have many more closings (and easy) closings in the future!

I'm new to this site, and it seems like a very informative place to be. I like the fact that you have a community of the experienced realtors mixed with the newcomers, to share experiences and real estate dealings.  I'm somewhat of a newcomer myself, just closed my first deal which happened to be my parents house. Couldn't have been any more of a  sweeter deal than that one, on both sides. The deal was smooth and easy, very much so unlike anything that I've seen from colleague realtors. I know this business to be a very trying one but it's pretty much just like anything you do in life, you get in it what you put out. I do this part time and looking forward to going full-time in the near future. My client database is building by the week, just gotta get em to closing. Congrats on your first closing, I know it was an exciting experience. I wish all realtors new and old much success. Don't let the market discourage you from what you want out of life. Just except the challenge and may we all prosper in our endeavors.

Congrats.  I am sure that will be one of many more to come.  Just keep doing the things that "produce" income.

Thanks Jason, I hope you have nothing but success through working with Active Rain and same to you Latonia. The market is tough right now but we should all be able to succeed.

That first deal is the best deal, your are now a professional REALTOR, yes you still have lots to learn but you have that first deal. I have been doing real estate for 6 months now, got my first deal on my first day, then the learning started, the customer srevice and asking those customer for referalls is a must. Best of luck in the future.

Congratulations. Always remember that the agent your co-oping with is in the same business as you are and you may run into that agent again in the future. Don't burn any bridges, professional courtesy is a must.

It feels very good to be a professional and close my first deal and i now am working on my 2nd. Things are rolling well and I always make sure to never burn my bridges with any other agents, to me were all here to help one another so why hurt one another?

Congratulations, Dominic.  I wish you a lot more success in your career.

Dominic-- I hope you have followed up with this party since then.

I say that because I wish I had followed up more closely with my first closings. I am working on a plan now but it would have had more impact if I had done it earlier.

Good for you, Dominic! I've got Realtor friends in the tough California market who have been at this a long time, and are not convinced of the value of things like Active Rain and the direcion of the market towards tech tools. As a result, you are closing somehting, and they have not had a closing in going on 11 months. Keep it up!
