Last week, I introduced my friend Kim Brogli, from Bob Parks Realty in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I had the pleasure of working with Kim for 5 years and consider her a great friend, and a fabulous Realtor. This girl knows her stuff, trust me!

This week, I am introducing my new friend, Michael Crockett, of Remax-Huntsville-Madison. When I relocated here to Huntsville, Alabama, Michael was the first agent I met, in a training class. I could tell right away, he would "do big things" with Real Estate! You know, it's that "feeling" we get. That "something" that they have. With some experience under our belts, we just know, right?
Michael and I are now office mates. We both flew under the radar for the first few months. I was busy running back and forth to Nashville, wrapping up business there, and Michael was busy earning his ABR and GRI designations. Michael Crockett is doing things right. He truly understands the value of education, long after the ink is dry on our license. Michael also understands that he won't learn it all from a classroom setting, but rather "in the trenches".
Michael and I both work for Re/Max Madison-Huntsville. I was thrilled when he approached me as an office mate and asked me to mentor him. I am cracking the whip, as of this week. So far, he has been an amazing student. His first lesson was to choose a neighborhood that excites him and become the neighborhood expert, THIS WEEK! He did it, by golly. Michael has toured the existing homes on the market, pulled CMA's and knows the absorption rates for his area. He has written a great introduction letter, showing his farm area why he IS the neighborhood expert. He is licking envelopes for his new farm area as we speak. I was really looking forward to using that whip, but I feel it won't be necessary:)
I look forward to each challenge I give him and watching him evolve in to one of the most respected Real Estate agents in Huntsville,Alabama. I believe know he can will do it.
If Michael Crockett keeps this up, he's going to make me look like the "Missy Caulk" of Mentors! I'm looking forward to it!
After joining Active Rain a few months ago, I finally shamed Michael into posting his first post, and what a fabulous job he did! I am so proud of him.
Please give a warm Active Rain hello to Michael, by commenting on his first post! My first Blog...it's about time
Congrats on joining active rain Michael. Thanks for introducing him to AR Elizabeth.
