Does anyone know what Edge Dressing is?

According to Wikipedia, dressing could be a medical dressing, a salad dressing, a stuffing, a covering to improve an objects appearance as a well dressing or a stone dressing.

Does anyone know what Edge Dressing is?  Is it a new salad dressing?  A bandage? A hem of some sort, almost like a fringe? The proper word for a French seam (double folded type seams, as seen in blue jeans)?  Is it a Realtors term?  A Loan Officer final answer? Or is it something an Inspector would use?

I know what it is...do you?

Seems like I have heard that term recently, but can't remember where I have heard it. Does it have something to do with shoes?

No, I don't know but I can't wait to find out!

Something to do with drawing people's attention to the house, or, AWAY from the house to get them to focus on a different selling point?

No idea, nothing comes up on Google that relates to housing/loans, etc.  Good luck

If I remember, it is a shoe paint that makes the soles and heals look like new. Royal..

One type of edge dressing that I know of for sure is to re-finished the black edge of your shoes.  Kiwi makes it.

Exactly Jeffrey, it is the dressing of your black shoes. No shoe shine is complete with edge dressing. And also, ask any Marine if they had to dress their boots with edge dressing.

And the first thing a woman looks at usually is a mans shoes. So guys...look your best and use edge dressing on your shoes. Just make sure the soles are not shinier than the shoes. If so re-wax the shoe, should be of the same color.

And ladies, I have been doing this for years on my shoes as well.
