Another technology trend that would help agents is managing all the voicemails/calls that come in from Craigslist ads, classifieds, drive-bys etc. and record keeping of all these messages. VoiceCloud is one solution to help agents with this.

Aloha Brad,

I totally agree with your concept regarding showing visuals on neighborhoods and had put three slide shows  together on three of the most popular towns on Oahu.  I choose to do slide shows because the quality of the images and the size in which they can be shown is so much larger and sharper.  All videos must be compressed because of the large file size and when you try to show it full screen the quality suffers.

If you would like to take a quick look at what I've created and made available to the Honolulu Agents I've listed the links below.

If you fee my presentations are something you think your readers would like to see as a sample I would welcome the opportunity of making them available.   All three are available FREE to all agents.

After working in video for 15 years, I also find high quality photography in slide shows to be more interactive and visually interesting. I also incorporate the "neighborhood " experience when possible into my virtual tours of the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area and several agents have used my area photos to improve their websites. See Snapshotamerica.com, Sandbridgehouses.com or JasonEDodd.com for samples- for more info email snapshotamerica@cox.net

Great information from Brad.  It made me think of the broader scope of marketing.  While still focusing on a target market.

Brad,

Another great post!  Dakno does a a superb job of presenting great options for Realtors!  Even though I have a lot of work to do yet on my site www.GreenUpJax.com, I love Dakno.  Great training, great options and tons of support!   Keep up the great work!!

P.S.  I love it when I call and I get a real person!!!  Thanks for great customer service!!!

Great advise, Thanks! I do agree video is up and coming but it should be noted that like photography the quality of work will depend on the individual or company and their artistic approach. Video will not work if it looks cheesy or just plain bad and since it is a tool, it should compliment other marketing mediums. One medium alone will not sell a home. The marriage of the right ingredients at the right price will increase interest in the property. Visit us at www.axiomfilmandvideo.com to view our concept of Video Tours, we look forward to your comments. Thanks again Brad

For those involved in creating videos from still photos, are there any suggestions regarding what is the best software to use.  Brad suggests windows movie maker, but it does not really do a good job with stills - it is best for video.  I don't have experience with imovie.  Have used Adobe Premiere in the past, but the file sizes are very large and the time to render is very long.

So, what are some of the other programs that others are using?
