If you haven't guessed yet, this newsletter contains up to the minute storm coverage on Fay, the retail anomaly and storm that wasn't.
She was a sissy, if you must know. There, I said it.
For those of you who may have fallen victim to network TV hype, remember, bloggers have the news, networks are selling Tide detergent and Pampers so they gotta make it look good so you'll get stuck watching their commercials.

I have to say it is strange hearing news from bloggers and twitterers before the networks have it online or TV! Fay might have been a sissy - but I like the picture :)
So true about the bloggers getting the info. out quicker and many times in a more reliable manner than the news. The national media has little left to offer.
Also, as I scanned your last blog... I agree and also support Fitzgeralds. Great food. Even their burgers are great. And of course.......the BEER!
We had no damage whatsoever. Just typical summer weather. Tropical storms, hurricanes, etc. I was born and raised in Daytona Beach. I've never had storm damage, and I've never evacuated. The most we've ever done is board up the windows.
I say Fay got scared and decided not to come out. Hopefully Fay will stay out. Its good that Fay didn't come out since the aftermath would've been some major damages. Great post.
