Getting to the top of
Google for keywords takes a certain amount of steps and specific
actions.
You can get to the top of a Google search result page within 4
hours.
I coached Fred Carver into
taking it to the top and now I am very proud to announce that Debe Maxwell
has taken it to the top. They are both coachable. That is the key to
effective results.
Debe took her keywords
for a neighborhood that she farms in Charlotte NC.She
blogged about this neighborhood on her Active Rain blog and then moved
the post to her Point 2 site and it was also listed on Localism.
Within
less than an hour, Debe owned page 1 on Googles' search results page
for these keywords. She was #1, #2,- both her Active Rain
Blog, #3, #4,- her Point 2 Website, #9 from
Localism and #10 from Realbird on page 1 of Google! This is
what it is all about!

Hi Nestor and Katerina,
My business partner and I work diligently at improving our seach optimization. It seems to be a bit nebulous though. We've risen as high as #3 on the "Phoenix real estate" search, but then we'll drop down to 11 or 14 the very next day. We've found that by keeping our website dynamic and ever changing we've really improved our seach engine optimization. But it seems the algorithm is ever changing and what you do one day won't work the next. Any tips?
Jerry- Active Rain is the main source of Google juice for us. I don't really care about where my website ranks although because of all the networking I do online in different forums getting link backs. SO I care more about my AR blog being on top because we get at least 2 listings a week from our blog. I don't want to dilute that. The website is to show sellers that we put their listings on line however, our website is on the top of Google and has been for months. As long as I am on the first page I get calls. I may jump from #1 to #2 or 3 or 4 slot, but not lower than that on the first page. But that is also because of the website we use, point 2 agent. It in and of itself has great google juice.
Having links back to your blog or site and interlinking deep within your own site and blog, that keeps you up longer. Debe will not drop from this placement as long as she blogs using these keywords once a week. When she gets one listing that sells from this work, the commission will be more than worth the time she spent.

John- We are actually using this series to get listing in Stonecroft. It is the same system I use to get our phone to ring with sellers eager to list. Thank for commenting and make it a great weekend.
Patricia- Yeah, you can do this too. Research and application are the keys to getting this done. But the results are well worth the time to do it. GO for it!

Somehow I knew you could not stay away from AR! I had a feeling you were going to sneak a peak while you are on vacation!
Great results, I haven't posted on point 2 lately and I need to. Actually I forgot about it. Every now and then I would add a post, I do have a RSS feed to it so they go in. I'll go check, it sounds like you need to POST on it and not syndicate.
Carole- Thank you! Debe is a star agent and she is a great person too. Her posts on the history of Charlotte are very interesting. You would enjoy them if you have not already.
Missy- What we do is copy and paste the post into point 2 but then go in and change about 10% of the content. Point 2 gets great google juice but AR is still on top when they are both crawled. AR will show up above point 2. But point 2 gets you 2 more spots on google page one! Remember 2 per author. AR blog is considered authored by AR. Point 2 is authored by whatever your domain name is. That is how you can get 4 spots that fast.
Congrats to Debe and to Fred - hard work pays off. I have neglected my blogs for awhile now, just haven't had the heart to start up again, but I did put my first post in weeks up on my outside blog today. I'm going to study what Fred and Debe have done so I can learn from them and from you.
Hi Katerina..Great see See Debe Maxwell is doing well with your coaching, I just checked thoroughly tonight and found myself still on the top on many key word search pages in Google plus with my Long Tail Key word posts too, After a while you start to dominate the search engine key words for most real estate key words in your area... I know you'll say I told you so. Well I'm living Proof that Blogging here in Active Rain and being Coached by you has put and kept me in front of the public in Google.
With the main key word phrases I need to do regular posts to keep ahead on the completion...and I do. I'm always in the top of the two main key word searches here with Victoria Real Estate and Victoria BC Real Estate. The secret is..they do not bring you now business, I'll let you tell them what does that..Thanks for being part of my life in business and my friend.

Wow! That's very cool. I had previously noticed some of Debe's Localism market reports that were absolutely outstanding. I didn't realize that you were coaching her too.
