Joelle, Your real estate shows are outstanding. It shows your talent for marketing. Teaming up is a great concept. Some people are great at the business end and others shine in the field. Combining talents is a great way to build a team. Great Post.

Joelle ~ Beautiful job!  So, when you team up with someone do you have some kind of non-compete agreement? 

Joelle, Love it! The home and the idea of teaming up. I have a fellow stager in Tucson who has an amazing inventory. I would love the idea of having a partner of some sorts. The last time we talk she was finishing up a couple of jobs and thinking about selling her inventory, because she thinks Tucson is not quite there with staging especially full staging services. I wonder. I should call her.

Fabulous clip, with great text.   I have needed to call on outside help a few times, and have found it to be a plus to get creative with a colleague.  Thoroughly enjoyable.  I don't worry about competition - there is more than enough listings for us all.   Kudos recognizing where your love lies and doing more of it.

Here in SoCal we have built a pretty good "team" of Partnering Stagers.  Whether it's helping out at each other's actualStagings, or passing clients to each other because they are in areas we don't immediately serve - NETWORKING is a great way to build repor, alliances and ultimately more business.

Joelle ~ Great staging, and a great concept about working with a team.  We do this all the time in my area and I haven't staged by myself in well over a year!  It's WAY too much fun to have talented colleagues to work with!  I'd encourage everyone to give this a try.

Joelle...This is stunning and I love the video.  And people don't think you need to stage!!!  I too work with a colleague and it's so much more enjoyable and fun to put a project together by bouncing ideas off of one another and then seeing the end result as while we think a lot alike, we also have different creative ideas.  I hate doing a job by myself anymore!

One word B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!  that L/R is gorgeous! Great job on the entire home! I've got to agree w/ Kathy N., it's definitely up there w/ one of best videos I've seen.

That is absolutely gorgeous.  I've been thinking about doing the same thing.  I've been so busy, which is great, but I think I benefit from teaming up too.  Thanks for sharing. 

Exceptional!  I love the new light fixture in the DR and furniture placement in the Family.  What a transformation!  Congrats on the teaming up!  We are in the process of doing the same thing here to build a solid staging team.  We hope to create a new company that stagers will want to join. It's a tough road to go alone and burnout is likely.  Would love to share ideas as to how you are making it work for you.  There are a lot of options!

Chrissie,  I think teaming up with other stagers is the way to go for us smaller independent stagers, it is too hard to do everything at once.

Michelle, I love the DR fixture too!!!   I so want to get one myself.   Yes, there are lots of options with regards to teaming up, my mind spins with ideas.

Emily,  thank you but I think most of the credit should go to Laura on this one.   Yes, I will be continuing, I think; however, I want to do so in a different capacity.  I will share more when I actually figure it out.  :-)  In the meantime I will "bow" to your talents..........and be dazzled by your transformations  :-)

I too have starting working with other stagers. It is a lot more fun. The properties turn out to be amazing and the job is complete in no time at all. I like to play music when I stage it helps me to relax. I do not worry about the competition. Hey we are all in this business together. There is more than enough to go around.

When i'm not staging my team mates will call me with their job(s) and we assist them on theirs.

This helps keep us all happy and busy!

WOW!  Ya'll did a beautiful job!!  My partner and I teamed up to start our business because we love being able to bounce ideas off each other, get each other motivated, have someone to laugh about the craziness of our business with and so much more.  We recently affiliated with another wonderful and amazing company in town and enjoy daily conversations and business building sessions with these great women.  We also stay in touch with a third staging company in town.  We all support each other and have a referral system in place.  We also all know we can count on each other for extra help anytime.  Good Luck to your continued success!

Beautiful, beautiful job! We, too, refer to other stagers out of area. In fact, i refered to one just the other day. And yesterday, a different stager referred to me! How doe you work out your referral system--do you receive/give a referral fee, or just reciprocate?
